Demand Capture or Demand Generation?
High Intent content vs thought leadership content
I could go on and on.
Marketers - You have lost the plot.
While it makes for interesting fodder on social - what approach you take and the minutia of how you label things in marketing doesn’t matter. And on top of that no one in the company cares, definitely not your CEO or the Board.
They care about revenue growth and how marketing is impacting that.
So as long as you're able to tie back your marking activities to that, the makeup of your marketing or how you label things doesn’t matter.
Growth is Growth.
